Teletrac Navman announced that Renaat Ver Eecke has been named president and has assumed leadership responsibility for all functions of the global business.

“I am pleased to announce the appointment of Renaat Ver Eecke as President of Teletrac Navman,” said Martin Gafinowitz, President, Gilbarco Inc. “Under his leadership, we expect Teletrac Navman to continue to accelerate above market growth while we continue to build and develop our combined team. Please join me in congratulating Ver Eecke on his new role and in supporting him as we go forward.”

Renaat Ver Eecke originally joined the Navman business in 2005 as part of Brunswick New Technologies, and was part of the original Navman Wireless leadership team that took the company to a privately held organization in 2007. Ver Eecke then served as general manager of the Navman Wireless U.S. region until 2013, at which time he assumed the role of vice president of global services.

“Upon the merger of Teletrac and Navman Wireless in late 2014, Ver Eecke assumed the added responsibility of Vice President and Chief Service Officer for the joint business,” according to the company. “In that role, he created a combined global services team, implemented a common worldwide organizational structure, unified KPIs on a global level, and drove operational margin expansion, including a 22% year-over-year improvement in the Teletrac customer base.”
