A new asset tracking software provides global freight status, asset management, and asset visibility across the supply chain.

The Smart Track Logistics’ product, called Integrated Asset Tracker, is built on the company’s On Demand Freight Flow platform. Delivered as a Software-as-a-Service model, it offers a low total cost of ownership while providing maximum benefit, the company said.

“Smart Track Logistics Freight Flow and Integrated Asset Tracker connects your enterprise to the physical supply chain as no other system can,” said Chris Anderson, CEO. “Integrated Asset Tracker eliminates the guesswork of where your asset or freight is in the supply chain and provides functionality to flow it through the enterprises gates, yards, docks and facilities with accuracy and speed while simultaneously greatly reducing labor and asset cost.”

Combined, Freight Flow and Asset Tracker streamline the flow of goods while eliminating manual data entry and error. This data provides visibility to the freight’s location, ETA, status and condition based on enterprise needs and business rules, Smart Tracks said. The information is displayed in a dashboard and mapping interface, and can be shared with clients, vendors, or carriers.

Integrated Asset Tracker also provides real-time asset management. Reporting capabilities include asset usage by facility, region, or enterprise.
