A free phone app designed to run on Android-powered smartphones has been released by Luber-finer. The app provides one-click access to filter product search and cross-reference information for installers and others to speed filter change productivity, said the company.

It can be downloaded at www.luberfiner.com/app.

“This new phone app is designed specifically to help installers of Luber-finer filters get access to filter information right at their fingertips so they can turn their bays faster and make more money,” said John Casanova, vp-- marketing & sales.

“Smartphones are becoming more and more prevalent in our lives and we are proud that the Luber-finer brand is able to make use of this technology to offer leading-edge productivity tools that go the extra mile for our customers in the automotive, light truck, medium-duty and, off- and on-road heavy-duty markets,” he added.

The app also allows users to locate the nearest Luber-finer distributor or reseller, the company said. It includes all filters from automotive to on-road heavy-duty markets.

Users can search for products by make, model, or year and receive up-to-date specifications and data for all filter applications.

A video of the app is available at www.youtube.com/luberfinerfilters.
