Raymond Handling Concepts, a provider of high-density storage and order-picking systems for warehousing and distribution, will install GE Capital Fleet Service’s Mobile Resource Intelligence system.
“GE’s telematics solution provides us with a sustainable competitive advantage” said Al Silar, vp of operations for Raymond Handling. “By evaluating information tailored specifically to our needs, we are better able to manage and deploy our field technicians, resulting in faster response times and less equipment downtime for all of our customers."

GE’s Intelligence Ops solution, part of the Mobile Resource Intelligence system, is an integrated business intelligence solution for operations and sales personnel.

Intelligence Ops helps managers evaluate mobile enterprise and driver performance activities and costs against goals, according to GE. Among the data evaluated is performance ranking by division, customer cost analysis, and exception-based alerts for driver best practices and coaching opportunities.

There are also feature-rich heat maps that offer market coverage, activity and opportunity insight at a glance.

“The new Intelligent Ops solution will revolutionize the way business leaders think about and manage their mobile operations,” said Dyan Finkhousen, mobile resource intelligence strategy leader for GE Capital Fleet Services. “We’re driving innovation into smart mobile technologies to help our customers exceed their business and fiscal goals and define a new standard of operational excellence.”

Raymond Handling operates seven offices in Northern California, the Pacific Northwest and Nevada.

“Raymond Handling sets a great example for organizations that want to improve decision-making and operational effectiveness with the use of telematics-based business intelligence solutions,” said Finkhousen. “We specialize in delivering the latest and most accurate mobile operations management tools to help customers identify significant cost savings and revenue opportunities.”
