Morey Corp. has unveiled a new tracking device that combines GPS & cellular tracking technology for use in track-and-trace applications where a consistent power source is not available.
The Trax MT-10 Asset Tracker is a telematics-based solution that includes a rugged enclosure designed to IP67/66k standards and able to withstand extreme shock, vibration, and temperature stresses, Morey said. It also offers wireless communications via cellular modem, location tracking via GPA, motion detection, over-the-air programming, and internal antennas.
“In a tight economy, companies are seeking straightforward, cost effective solutions for better asset management,” said Dana Morey, executive vice president. “Morey solutions translate into major improvements in visibility and control of business critical assets, which ultimately translates into better corporate performance.”
The device is powered by a field-replaceable battery, according to Morey.
