A popular driver training program and safety and risk management solution have been integrated to offer fleets a one-stop solution, according to ThoughtDrivers.
The company’s SafetyBox has been joined with Pro-Tread from Instructional Technologies Inc., to provide seamless integration with real-time driving records, accident management, regulatory compliance, human resources and risk profile information as well as Pro-Tread’s remediation capabilities.
"The innovative integration of these software packages enables fleets to manage employee training requirements with maximum efficiency, alerting employees to specific training assignments, and assuring and documenting compliance," said Sam Liberto, ThoughtDrivers CEO.
The combination will allow fleets to document and manage risk effectively as well as improve driver performance by providing a simple, cost-effective integrated solution, said ITI president & CEO Jim Voorhees.
Users of ThoughtDrivers can identify hidden risks and immediately engage the driver or warehouse worker with task-specific Pro-Treat training and documentation, ThoughtDrivers said. Among the lessons available are safety and defensive driving, HOS and log book training, fatigue management, fuel management, OSHA and workplace safety and Haz-Mat training and recertification.
