XATA Turnpike adds Glentel as reseller

XATA Turnpike, a division of XATA Corp., a provider of fleet optimization software, announced during the TMW TransForum users’ meeting here this week the addition of Glentel to its roster of value-added resellers (VARs).

XATA Turnpike said that for more than 40 years, Glentel has engineered, designed and commissioned wireless network solutions that are critical to a variety of industries, including transportation, which “makes the company an ideal VAR for XATA and the leading private and for-hire fleets it serves.”

Glentel is the largest reseller of both Rogers Wireless Services and Motorola products and services in Canada, and is a provider of innovative and reliable telecommunications services and solutions across North America.

XATA Turnpike said its RouteTracker device collects and transmits vehicle and driver data to a hand-held device and sends it back to a hosted web portal. XATA Turnpike’s product and service offerings are available to Glentel customers at no upfront costs and offer a strategic solution for fleets looking to optimize operations and automate regulatory compliance using consumer-grade or ruggedized handheld solutions, the company said.
