Schneider Logistics, Inc. has announced the opening of new freight-forwarding offices in Rotterdam and Amsterdam, noting that 70% of the freight handled at the new offices is destined for or originates from other European countries. Schneider is also opening new offices in Chicago, Atlanta, and New York.
“These locations and services are key components in our strategy to build a comprehensive, door-to-door, global logistics operation that spans air, ocean and truck transportation,” said John Ferguson, vice president, International, for Schneider Logistics. “Plus, the addition of international associates with extensive industry expertise gives us the depth and skills needed to serve customers’ global shipping requirements.”
Schneider added that recent growth in China will also help the company further link global supply chains, as shippers will have more options for their international import and export needs.
