IMMI promotes Gray to CEO

IMMI, a leading developer and manufacturer of advanced safety systems for commercial vehicles, has promoted gm Larry Gray to the position of chief executive officer. As CEO, Gray will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s global business strategy and providing leadership toward achievement of annual goals and objectives.

IMMI noted that Gray will partner with company president Tom Anthony, who will focus on directing the conpany’s mission, philosophy and overall strategic direction.

“Larry Gray’s visionary leadership and strong relationships have helped IMMI develop new customers, new partners and new markets,” Anthony said. “His efforts have not only kept IMMI competitive through the economic downturn, but have also strengthened the company’s ability to meet customer needs and grow its position as a global provider of safety products for commercial vehicles.”

Gray holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and technology from Purdue and is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and the Society of Mechanical Engineers. He has been awarded five United States patents and has filed four additional patents. During his nine years with IMMI, Gray has held positions as director of research and development, director of sales and marketing and most recently as gm.
