Blake Jackson, dealer principal of Idaho Falls Peterbilt, accepted the 2008 North American Dealer of the Year honor at the Peterbilt Motors Co. Annual Dealer Meeting.

Growing sales coupled with expanding product offerings, growth in market share and strong customer service helped Idaho Falls garner the award.

"Blake Jackson is a perfect example of what dedication and vision can achieve," said Bill Jackson, Peterbilt gm & Paccar vp. "Blake is consistent and unwavering in his support of Peterbilt and the entire Paccar line-up of products."

Blake Jackson operates seven Peterbilt dealerships in Colorado, Idaho and Utah.

Jackson's Idaho Falls branch also won a Best in Class award given to top performing dealers, and the branches in Idaho Falls, Boise and Salt Lake City were given Platinum Oval awards to recognize sales and service excellence.

Other Best in Class winners included Eric and Kurt Jorgensen, Peterbilt Illinois, Rockford, IL; Eddy Stahl, Stahl Peterbilt, Edmonton; Marvin and Rusty Rush, Rush Peterbilt Truck Center, Denver; Glenn Larson, Peterbilt of Springfield, Strafford, MO; and Bob and Harry Hunter, Hunter Keystone Peterbilt, Lancaster, PA.

The company's Red Oval of the Year award for the top performing pre-owned truck dealer went to Bert Martin Jr. of Martin's Peterbilt of Eastern Kentucky in London, KY, and the Peterbilt TruckCare Dealer of the Year award for aftermarket service was awarded to John Arscott of Peterbilt of Richmond in Richmond, VA.
