Auto Truck Group gets ship-thru status for Ram ProMaster

July 31, 2013

Auto Truck Group has been awarded ship-thru status for the Ram ProMaster van. Ship-thru status allows Auto Truck Group, a vehicle upfitter, to complete assembly of the ProMaster van with its specialized components as part of the OEM manufacturing process.

Under this arrangement, fleets and dealers can use the ship-thru code 99783A for Auto Truck Group ship-thru at the Ram ProMaster van assembly plant in Saltillo, Mexico. Auto Truck has already been awarded ship-thru for the ProMaster cab chassis and cutaway, and currently has ProMaster vans available in the company’s pool, it said.

“We are very pleased to be able to offer the Ram ProMaster,” said Dennis Jones, vice president of sales and marketing. “Ram is a valued business partner of ours and this new ship-thru option gives our customers even more flexibility with regard to the design and upfit of their fleet vehicles.”
