Eaton Corp. has added a Spanish-speaking virtual spokesperson to its website to assist visitors in locating information on the company’s UltraShift Plus automated transmissions.
The virtual spokesperson is Jose Santos and like his English language counterpart - Brian Fletcher - provides personalized and tailored information at www.ultrashiftplus.com.
At the site, Eaton provides detailed information on the features, benefits and applications of its newest generation of automated transmissions. The information can easily be customized based on viewer inputs, which will be uniquely tailored to their specific commercial truck application – be it linehaul, vocational or severe service.
“We recognize the importance of having language options for current and potential customers, and adding Spanish is the next evolution of our digital strategy” said Dave Karnes, director, Roadranger field sales and marketing-North American Truck Business. “Spanish language visitors to our site will now receive the same personalized UltraShift Plus presentation that is currently facilitated in English.”
Karnes noted that in the coming months Eaton will add a third virtual presenter who is being developed to support the French speaking community.
