FleetPride to expand in Oregon through acquisition

FleetPride is acquiring the assets of Ott’s Friction Supply in Oregon, expanding its footprint in that state. Terms were not disclosed. The sale is expected to close on March 17, 2014. Ott’s has operations in Portland and Eugene.

Ott’s Friction Supply has a long rich history dating back to its origins in 1925 and has been owned and operated by Jerry Weis, CEO, and Chris Sweet, president, since 1999.

“Through Jerry and Chris’ leadership, Ott’s has extended its stellar reputation in this market of superior customer service, technical support, and a knowledgeable and experienced inside and outside sales team,” Peters said.
