Freezing Ford Vehicles in Florida

Every year, Ford Motor Co. brings a bevy of prototype vehicles to the McKinley Climatic Laboratory at Eglin Air Force Base, located in the Florida panhandle, for extreme cold-weather testing - getting temperatures down as low as minus 40 degrees Fahrenheit in a span of just 10 hours, all in spite of the muggy summer heat just outside the laboratory's doors.
