Frost & Sullivan awards Grote Industries

Nov. 19, 2012

Grote Industries has been recognized by Frost & Sullivan with its 2012 Technology Leadership Award in the category of commercial vehicle lighting. According to Grote, it was chosen over three competitive finalists in the category.

Selection criteria included new technology development, success in leveraging new technologies, level of R&D spending, industry customer brand perception, and product value for end-use customers, Grote said, adding that the company received the highest scores in each of these categories and the highest overall score.

Grote added that Frost & Sullivan identified the company’s introduction and development of LED lighting as well as its new ultra-thin film-based LightForm LED program, which is scheduled to enter the marketplace in 2013.

“Grote Industries, through its long-standing dedication to being technology leaders in safety lighting components, has been instrumental in developing advanced technology solutions that address the critical demands of daily truck operations, especially under the CSA regulation environment,” said the Frost & Sullivan report. “Grote’s position as a market leader has driven acceptance of LED safety lighting in the commercial vehicle and trailer industries. Frost & Sullivan’s independent benchmarking confirms that Grote most certainly exhibits superior best practices and is therefore the recipient of the 2012 Technology Leadership Award.”
