Green Mountain Kenworth opens parts and service location in Vermont

Feb. 12, 2015

Green Mountain Kenworth has opened a new parts and service location in Pittsford, VT.

The facility sits on 10 acres of land along U.S. Route 7, about 6 mi. north of the intersection of U.S. Route 7 and U.S. Route 4. The 13,000-sq.-ft. location offers five dedicated service bays, a wash bay, and has a 1,800-sq.-ft. parts department with ample room for parts display and inventory.

Green Mountain Kenworth’s flagship store is located in Shelburne, VT, about 60 mi. north of Pittsford.

“We expect a lot of interest in this new location from local customers and truck operators traveling through the area seeking better and more convenient service support in a part of Vermont that needs it,” said David Stebbins, general manager for Green Mountain Kenworth.

“Rutland County sits in the center of the state, located near the halfway point between Boston to the south and Montreal to the north. So, our new location offers a convenient service stop for major trucking firms on their shipping routes," he added. "Plus, our new location can provide service support to more than 20 local trucking fleets in the area, in addition to a variety of vocational truck operators, contractors, pick-up and delivery couriers and food haulers.”
