Dover Industrial Products has formed a new service company, Innovative Vehicle Service Group (VSG), which incorporates two Dover companies, Rotary and Chief Automotive Technologies. The new company will enhance "our ability to provide superior levels of service and support to our automotive customers while leveraging the company’s facilities, personnel and resources," said Tom Giacomini, Dover president & CEO.
VSG will be based in Madison, IN, world headquarters of Rotary. Chief will relocate to Madison to further streamline the new group, Dover said.
"Chief and Rotary are both world leaders in the automotive industry," Randy Gard, president of Chief Automotive Technologies said. "Both companies are known as the quality providers within their respective segments, and both have exceptional and well-established sales channels, service training and support infrastructures."
Rotary manufactures vehicle service and storage lifts while Chief produces vehicle frame pulling and anchoring equipment and computerized frame measuring systems.
