Mack appoints Martin Kleker a regional vp

Mack Trucks has named Martin Kleker regional vice president for the U.S. Central Region. The truck and engine maker said Kleker will be responsible for driving sales, market share and profitability in the region.

“Martin’s experience in sales and the trucking industry will be very helpful to Mack customers,” said Stephen Roy, president of Mack Trucks North American Sales and Marketing. “We’re enthusiastic about Martin joining the Mack family.”

Mack noted that Kleker has more than 25 years of experience in the transportation industry, with expertise in sales, finance and parts and service.

He also brings extensive product knowledge to the position, including aerodynamic vehicle technologies focused on fuel efficiency and alternative fuels, said the OEM.

Kleker’s most recent position was vp of sales for national accounts for Navistar. Previously, he led sales and service teams as regional manager and as national fleet sales manager for Peterbilt Motors Co.
