Michelin Americas Truck Tires has released the X One XZY3, an on-/off-road all-position radial tire the company said offers weight and fuel savings. The tire is on display at the Michelin booth at the ConExpo-Con/Agg trade show in Las Vegas this week.

According to the company, the X One XZY3 features a special compound with superior chip and cut resistance for off-road use, reducing irregular wear through Michelin’s Infini-Coil Technology, a quarter-mile steel cable wrapped around the casing.

The tire also features enhanced protection from stone drilling, a reinforced bead package, and aggressive shoulder design, as well as co-extrusion rubber technology to provide on-road cooler operating temperatures at speeds up to 75 mph, Michelin said.
