More from the Virginia Museum of Transportation

Formed as a partnership between the former Norfolk & Western Railway and the City of Roanoke, Va., in 1963, the Virginia Museum of Transportation became the Old Dominion's "official" transportation museum in 1983. It's home to a varied collection of trains, planes, cars, trucks, and even old-time horse-drawn wagons.
