Dana Holding Corp. has released a new line of aftermarket drivetrain components designed specifically for post-warranty vehicles with lower usage cycles. The SVL line is for automotive, commercial, and the off-highway aftermarkets.

“The drivetrain aftermarket demands a quality product option for applications that do not require genuine original-equipment performance specifications,” said Bill Gryzenia, vice president and general manager of Dana’s Aftermarket Group. “The SVL product line fulfills the market’s need for durable performance and is fully validated by Dana's experienced engineering team.”

The first products will include universal joins for the light- and commercial vehicle markets, and ring and pinion gear sets for heavy-duty applications. SVL-branded light-duty axle components will follow shortly after the launch, Dana said.

“Operators of older, less frequently used vehicles are seeking value pricing from a trusted source with consistent quality and reliability,” Gryzenia said. “As an extension of Dana's current product offerings, SVL offers valuable driveline solutions that are affordable and delivered with the service and reliability our customers have come to expect.”
