International updates CityStar pricing

International Truck announced it is now estimating the cost of its International CityStar Series, formerly known as the CF Series

International Truck announced it is now estimating the cost of its International CityStar Series, formerly known as the CF Series, to be $4,000 to 4,500 higher due to the 2007 emissions requirements.

The International cab forward truck is powered by a MaxxForce 5 diesel engine, formerly known as the International VT 275 V6 diesel, which requires new technology to meet EPA mandates.

“The cost of upgrading the engines to meet the federal mandates will have an effect on virtually all diesel truck customers nationwide,” said O.J. Aboyade, vp & gm of CF Business at International. “However, our goal continues to be providing customers with the highest reliability, serviceability and performance.”
