Truck maker Isuzu, equipment maker John Deere and body builder Supreme Corp. are joining forces to offer landscapers a special truck package that includes upfitted equipment that doesn’t have to be purchased separately. The package will allow customers to save $2,250, the companies said.

The package is built around an Isuzu N-Series gas or diesel truck with one of three Supreme landscape bodies that includes: a $1,000 “Upfit Allowance” on a Supreme Stake, Landscaper or VanScaper, which expires March 31, 2007; up to $750 in either an “Upgrade Bonus” for those upgrading from a competitor vehicle or “Customer Loyalty Bonus” for returning Isuzu N-Series customers; plus a $500 discount on a John Deere Commercial Z-Track mower.

“Our customers will find maximum practicality, durability, versatility and accessibility with these three body options, which are key features for those in the landscaping industry,” said Todd Bloom, marketing vp for General Motors Isuzu Commercial Truck.

As part of a joint partnership between GM and Isuzu, GM markets the Isuzu-produced N-Series as the GMC and Chevrolet W-Series. More information on the new package is available at www.isuzucv.com or www.mowpro.com.
