Peterbilt has launched an initiative that will allow existing and prospective customers to test a new 2008 model year Peterbilt in the customers’ operation.

The “Models of Innovation” program involves a 130-unit fleet that includes every 2008 Peterbilt model. The fleet will be distributed throughout the OEM’s dealer network in the U.S. and Canada. All models feature EPA ’07 emissions technology.

The program “will let our customers witness first hand the company’s broad lineup of trucks equipped with the latest technologies enhancing fuel economy and driver comfort,” said Bill Jackson, Peterbilt gm and Paccar vp.
