Storm drains in high-traffic areas can be protected from contamination with the Heavy-Duty PIG Build-a-Berm barrier from New Pig Corp.

According to New Pig, the barrier is designed to withstand traffic from trucks, loaded tow motors and other heavy vehicles.

The two-in. high barrier, made from 35-oz. vinyl-coated fabric with an open-cell polyethylene foam rubber core, will “endure repeated heavy-vehicle drive-overs and easily springs back into shape,” said New Pig.

The barrier can be attached to concrete, asphalt and most sealed surfaces via pre-drilled aluminum mounting strips and steel anchors.
