Yokohama to raise tire prices

Yokohama Tire Corp. has responded to rising raw material and transportation costs by rolling out price adjustments to its consumer and off-road tires, effective May 1.

Yokohama Tire Corp. has responded to rising raw material and transportation costs by rolling out price adjustments to its consumer and off-road tires, effective May 1.

Consumer tires, which include van and pickup tires, could see a price increase of up to 7%. Off-road tires, which include tires for dump trucks and vocational vehicles, could see a 3 to 5% increase on select models.
