Donaldson Co. has launched an online Emissions Resource Center: www.donaldson.com/en/erc. The web site provides access to emissions-control information such as descriptions of emissions-reduction technologies, diesel-engine exhaust retrofits and health impact of diesel emissions. Heil Environmental Truck Equipment Group is now applying a corrosion-resistant primer to all the dump truck bodies it manufactures.

Heil Environmental Truck Equipment Group is now applying a corrosion-resistant primer to all the dump truck bodies it manufactures. Heil says the system uses a durable epoxy primer supplied by BASF to provide a more corrosion-resistant, longer-lasting finish. www.duraclass.com

Remanufactured brake linings from Carlisle Motion Control Industries' Altec Brake Systems division are now being coated with RustGard to prevent rust-jacking caused by corrosive road treatments. The UV coating was far more effective than standard paint coating at resisting rust in industry-standard salt-spray tests conducted by Carlisle. www.carlisle-motion.com

ArvinMeritor has formed a joint venture with First Auto Works (FAW) Sihuan Axle Brake Group, based in Changchun, China. The venture is expected to establish a new manufacturing facility, which will eventually produce up to 90,000 brakes annually, in the Changchun area later this year. www.arvinmeritor.com
