J.J. Keller & Associates and PHH Arval, a subsidiary of PHH Corp., have signed an agreement that PHH Arval hopes will help its clients stay in compliance of all DOT regulations.

“For those fleets that include vehicles over 10,000 lbs. gross or combined weight, it's crucial to understand all DOT requirements and stay in compliance,” said Michael Lewis, senior vp-truck strategy for PHH Arval. “We see our relationship with J.J. Keller as a strategic benefit to our clients, as the company is the premier provider of this class of services in the industry.”

The deal will allow J.J. Keller to provide its U.S. Dept. of Transportation regulatory compliance and vehicle legalization services suite to PHH Arval clients. The suite includes driver qualification services, vehicle regulatory compliance services, risk mitigation, and on-site client consulting and assessment, PHH said.

The deal augments PHH's solution services, which include permitting, tax filings and hours-of-service compliance.

PHH also provides clients with fuel and maintenance services, which were introduced to the market in 2007.
