Racor introduces DEF tank vent filter

April 6, 2015

Racor has introduced a new Eco-Vent filter that prevents contamination from entering the DEF tank.

Eco-Vent is made using DEF compatible proprietary engineered materials. According to a Racor press release, its snap-in bracket makes it easy to service. The mounting bracket is E-coated steel, which resists corrosion from DEF and the environment. The element prevents dirty air from flowing into the DEF tank. The reservoir area holds dirt and water, preventing it from reaching the filter.

Product features include:

  • No tools required for filter servicing

  • Filter snaps easily into bracket

  • Corrosion resistant body and bracket assembly

  • Easy element replacement, flexible tabs allow filter to snap into place
