Rislone has introduced the Transmission Stabilizer with Stop Slip, which it said uses viscosity improvers, anti-wear friction modifiers and extreme pressure performance to solve most transmission problems. Part of the new Rislone stabilizer line, it is compatible with all types of domestic and import transmission fluid.

The stabilizer restores bands and clutches, stopping slip, eliminating hesitation and reducing rough shifting, the company said, in addition to stopping fluid loss and reducing friction and wear.

“Automatic transmission fluid is one of the most complex of all vehicle lubrication fluids," said Clay Parks, vp of development for Bar's Products, manufacturer of Rislone. "It has to balance how much friction it allows in order to reduce wear and control temperature, while at the same time preventing the internal clutch material from slipping. Plus, the fluid must operate at both low and high temperature extremes. Our new Rislone Transmission Stabilizer's premium formula renews and stabilizes the transmission fluid, restoring transmission performance and preventing costly transmission/transaxle repairs. It's good for preventative maintenance and is the perfect additive for poorly maintained transmissions."
