Trail King Industries acquires Dakota Trailer Manufacturing

Trail King Industries has just acquired Dakota Trailer Manufacturing, a manufacturer of Aluminum Grain Trailers for the agricultural market.  Trail King, as a manufacturer of agricultural, commercial, construction, material hauling, and specialized hauling equipment made this acquisition as part of the company’s long-term strategic growth plan, according to the company.  The company said the acquisition sets the stage to expand and complement Trail King’s agricultural product line which will now include Aluminum Grain Trailers, ranging in sizes from 21 to 51 feet.  By adding this product line Trail King said it will not only strengthens its existing agricultural offerings, but also reinforces its commitment to fully serve its dealer and customer base. “Our sights are set on continuing to exceed dealers’ and customers’ expectations by providing new solutions that complement Trail King’s current offerings,” said Bruce Yakley, president and CEO. “Trail King’s proven success, widely-recognized brand value and expansive dealer and customer reach makes it an exemplary home for Dakota Trailer with boundless possibilities for the future,” said Brian Strahl, president and owner of Dakota Trailer.
