Webb Wheel adopts new media for customers

March 13, 2012

Webb Wheel Aftermarket is utilizing new media applications to provide customers with company news, proper wheel-end maintenance procedures and part interchange details that can be used for technician training, service repair instruction and to find correct replacement components.

Webb’s presence can be found on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube as well as by downloading the new Web iPhone or iPad applications.

On the YouTube channel, located at www.youtube.com/webbwheel,  videos on proper installation techniques for wheel end mounting systems can be found. Each video appears in English, Spanish and French.

Webb’s Facebook page and Twitter account include the latest news from the company while the iPad and iPhone apps allow users to see technical videos for training and updating technician skills, Webb’s complete Installation and maintenance manual for wheel-end components, new product and service bulletins from Webb and a complete part number interchange.

“Webb has a great deal of useful information in our libraries and we wanted to make sure that it was made available to anyone in the industry that could benefit from it,” said Marshall Boheler, vice president OES sales and marketing for Webb’s Aftermarket Business.  “People today are using a variety of online tools to access information and training that can make their jobs easier so we needed to have a presence wherever they might want to find us.  Webb’s goal is to continue to enhance communication channels to our customers.”
