Detroit Diesel is pleased to announce that the G2 Program has been selected to Training Magazine's Top 125, the most elite ranking among Fortune 500 companies for their Training and Learning development programs. The G2 Program is a training, certification, continuous improvement and rewards program for Detroit Diesel's service network. Each year, Training Magazine ranks the top 125 organizations that excel at training development programs, recognizing their commitment, dedication and investment to training.

The Detroit Diesel G2 Program ranked 95th out of the 125 selected, and was recognized for this achievement in an awards ceremony on February 25, 2007. The Training Magazine Top 125 ranking is based on many factors, including financial commitment, programs offered, metrics measured, methods of evaluation, and continuous improvement. "We would not have been considered for this award if it wasn't for our service organization and program members embracing and supporting the G2 Program", stated Jack Conlan, Senior Vice President Service & Parts of Freightliner LLC. "We want to thank all of them for their dedication in helping all of our companies improve customer service."

"One of our goals is to be the industry leader in customer service by consistently providing an experience that meets or exceeds our customer's expectations," Conlan continues. "This may sound simple; execution is going to be the key. Our customers expect the highest quality and an exceptional network that effectively and consistently
executes service. The G2 Program is key in delivering service excellence."

Within the one year that passed since its creation, the G2 Program has established itself as a training institution across the company's service network. "G2 has exceeded our expectations and we continue to find innovative ways to improve the program further for our members and service outlets" says Tom Diefenbaker, Director of Technical Support
Development. "Customers who visit a service location that participates in the G2 Program will know their on-highway engines are in the hands of knowledgeable, highly-trained and certified technicians and parts associates. They will know that the factory and service outlets have made a major investment in their people and are committed to assist getting our customers back on the road as quickly as possible," concludes Diefenbaker.
