ATRO appoints Joe Samel to leadership team

ATRO Engineered Systems announced that Joe Samel has joined the company as its vice president of marketing and business development.

ATRO Engineered Systems announced that Joe Samel has joined the company as its vice president of marketing and business development. In this new role, Samel is responsible for streamlining route-to-market communications and improving the presentation of the ATRO product line to customers while driving new sales opportunities, the company noted.

“Joe provides a key, new component to our organization at a time when we continue to grow,” said Mark Sturmon, president, ATRO Engineered Systems.  “His experience in customer-first marketing, sales execution knowledge and management leadership is an invaluable asset to help drive our business forward.”

According to the company, Samel comes to ATRO with more than 25 years of professional sales and marketing experience. He worked for more than two decades at Anheuser-Busch InBev in various roles throughout the sales, marketing and brand management areas. Samel’s most recent position was director of trade marketing for national accounts including Kroger.
