Daimler Trucks North America appoints Eileen Frack as GM of human resources

Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) appointed Eileen Frack as the company’s general manager of human resources.

Frack, who formerly served the company as director of executive management development, will succeed David Carson, who was appointed president and CEO of Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation, the company said. Additionally, Frack was named a member of the Daimler Trucks North America’s Operating Committee. Frack begins her new roles on Aug. 1, 2015.  

“Daimler Trucks North America is pleased to appoint Eileen Frack to the role of general manager of human resources; her experience, leadership and initiative are unquestioned as is her dedication to assembling a team that celebrates diversity for the betterment of the company’s culture,” said Martin Daum, president and CEO. “Eileen will represent the over 22,000 talented employees that are proud to design, build, sell and service the best commercial vehicles in the world today.”

Frack started her career with DTNA in 2005 as the director of the Office of Tax Affairs and International Trade Compliance, according to the company. Frack moved into her current role as director of executive management development in 2010, where she has been a driving force for the company on leadership and cultural topics, DTNA said.

“Frack’s primary goal will be to ensure that Daimler Trucks North America continues to be a Great Place to Work for all employees and an employer of choice in all our locations,” DTNA said.  

In addition to her experience with DTNA, Frack brings over 20 years of additional financial and leadership experience working for NIKE and Kimberly-Clark, the company said.
