Employee background, screening services solution offered

Oct. 24, 2012

EBE Technologies and Driver iQ have joined forces to allow the integration of employee background and screening services to EBE’s software. EBE will offer Driver iQ’s suite of background information services, including the ability to verify past employment history records through the PRE (Previous Record of Employment) database, to its customers through its SHIPS Driver Recruiting & Recruiting for Web Workflow solutions.

This newly developed database is Driver iQ’s solution for carriers to obtain instant employment verifications, EBE said.

Fleets utilizing Driver iQ are now able to order publicly available background records such as the most commonly used MVRs, CDLIS, and criminal records as well as previous employment verifications utilizing the EBE software.

“Today’s fleets are eager for an alternative solution and constantly looking for ways to cut costs and improve efficiency in the driver screening process,” said Lana Batts, co-president of Driver iQ. “This integration goes a long way toward providing our mutual customers with a solid solution which will compile and present a complete record on the applicant and generate the reports needed to efficiently manage the process while remaining compliant.”

“We are pleased to offer our customers best-in-class offerings for driver background screening, said Cindy Nelson, vice president-marketing & business development of EBE Technologies. “Our mutual relationship was requested by leading carriers and gives us the opportunity to take advantage of the expertise and innovation that Driver iQ brings to the market.”
