J.B. Hunt chooses FuelQuest for fuel management

J.B. Hunt Transport Services will outsource its bulk terminal fuel management through FuelQuest’s Fuel Center.

By partnering with FuelQuest and utilizing the FuelQuest Fuel Center, we gain capabilities that allow us to improve and streamline our bulk fuel purchasing with the automation of several manual processes,” said Craig Harper, executive vice president of operations & COO at J.B. Hunt, which operates four business segments providing truckload, flatbed, and other transportation logistics solutions.

Fuel Center forecasts and sources fuel, “acting as a supplier-independent extension of the customer,” FuelQuest said. The system assumes fuel management activities including order management and fuel, freight and tax charge reconciliation.
