Jerr-Dan names vp and gm

Oct. 27, 2013

Richard Del Campo has been named vice president and general manager of Jerr-Dan Corp., an Oshkosh Corp. company.

Jerr-Dan manufactures towing and recovery equipment.

Del Campo brings extensive domestic and international business experience to the organization and will lead Jerr-Dan operations to deliver quality products and exceptional aftermarket service, while at the same time drive development of the next generation of towing and recovery vehicles, the company said.

Del Campo had previously been working at JLG, a sister company of Jerr-Dan.  Both JLG and Jerr-Dan make up the Access Equipment segment of Oshkosh. There, he headed up regional market development and sales for JLG and its alliance with Caterpillar. Prior to joining JLG, he worked at Caterpillar in several key roles.

“Richard brings a new business perspective that will allow Jerr-Dan to maximize its operational efficiencies, build talent resources, focus on domestic and international growth and keep customers at the forefront of everything we do,” said Frank Nerenhausen, Oshkosh Corp. executive vice president and president of both JLG and Jerr-Dan.  “Richard brings hands-on-experience in building businesses and knows what it means to roll up your sleeves to get the job done. This announcement is further proof of our commitment to the towing and recovery market and, through Richard’s leadership, Jerr-Dan will reach a new level of product quality and innovation, service and customer satisfaction.”
