NTEA launches monthly chassis report

Sept. 27, 2013

The NTEA, the association for the work truck industry, has launched a new monthly resource for fleet managers. The OEM Monthly Chassis Report features analysis into the monthly box-off truck chassis shipments and sales data provided to NTEA by chassis OEMs.

“This report leverages our relationships with work truck OEMs and allows us share a focused analysis of box-off truck chassis data with our members,” said Steve Carey, NTEA executive director. “We’re pleased to provide our industry with information that is pertinent to their business planning.”

The report features key statistics and significant findings to help work truck industry professionals stay up-to-date and sharpen their competitive edge, NTEA said.

Included in each issue is the number of box-off and incomplete commercial chassis shipped and sold within NAFTA countries, with data presented by cab type and weight class segments. The report also analyzes how differences between shipments and sales affect chassis available for upfit, and provides insight into how market fluctuations can affect sales trends.

Each edition of OEM Monthly Chassis Report will be emailed to NTEA members and is also available for download at no charge as a member benefit. Nonmembers can purchase either a print or pdf version of the report for $49 per edition. To order a copy, call 1-800-441-6832 or visit Shop NTEA.
