As of Jan. 2 of this year, Quality Trailer Products and Century Wheel & Rim began doing business as Rockwell American. Both companies are owned by Polar Corp., which also purchased Rockwell American in 2005.

“The Rockwell American name has long been associated with quality, reliability, and service, a reputation we’ve maintained since acquiring Rockwell American Manufacturing in 2005,” said Chris Dietemann, president.

The change culminates a year-long initiative to unify the company’s Quality Trailer Products, Century Wheel & Rim, and Rockwell American brands under a single identity. The company’s legal name and structure will not change, nor has there been a change in ownership, management, or locations. The new web site address is www.rockwellamerican.com.

“This decision reinforces our position as an integrated supplier to trailer builders and the trailer aftermarket,” Dietemann said.

In addition to stocking trailer parts through a wholly owned national sales and distribution network, Rockwell American manufactures and markets wheels, axles, fenders, brake components, leaf springs, and other components for light, medium, and heavy duty commercial trailers.
