Comdata acquires eFueling Technologies

Jan. 7, 2014

Comdata has acquired eFueling Technologies as it looks to expand its product offerings. eFueling Technologies, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Woodfin Oil Co., is a leader in the unattended fueling market, Comdata said.

Comdata and eFueling previously partnered to develop a web-based site controller system marketed as SmartSight. Launched in 2013, this system provides fuel merchants with real-time insight into transaction data and activity at unattended fueling sites.

“Comdata has been offering payment processing solutions to fuel merchants for more than 20 years, and we continue to provide tools and data to help our customers drive successful business operations,” said Randy Morgan, executive vice president of the fleet division at Comdata. “The acquisition of eFueling Technologies supports our continuing commitment to growth in fleet fueling market.”
