The Natural Gas Vehicle Institute (NGVi) has released a comprehensive online Buyers' Guide exclusively for Natural Gas Vehicles (NGV). Offered through subscription, it is available online through NGVi's website.

" NGVi recognizes the importance of giving fleet professionals the resources and tools needed to develop and implement a successful natural gas vehicle deployment strategy. That's why we developed the NGV Buyers' Guide" said Annalloyd Thomason, Vice President and General Manager of NGVi.

The Guide allows users to search by fuel type, vehicle class, vehicle type, model year and manufacturer including original equipment manufacturers, small volume manufacturers, and engine and chassis manufacturers. Search results yield detailed vehicle specification information and vehicle images. Complete contact information for each manufacturer and natural gas industry partners is also included to help make purchasing decisions easier.

"All this information may be available from each individual manufacturer, however, our Guide cuts down the initial research by making it all available in one central location. We worked as closely as possible with each manufacturer to ensure accuracy," said Thomason. "We will continue to work with them to regularly update the Guide as new vehicles enter the market, keeping the Guide as accurate as possible."
