Patrick Quinn, co-chairman & president of truckload carrier U.S. Xpress Enterprises will headline the “Faster Freight - Cleaner Air” (FFCA) East Coast conference in New York City this July. The conference will highlight green technologies and strategies for the goods-movement industry to improve efficiency, reduce the impact of soaring energy costs and reduce the environmental footprint of freight movement.
Some 500 people are expected to attend the FFCA East Coast summit July 8-10 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan.
The conference will also focus on the growing demands for an improved national infrastructure and expanded rail and trucking services to accommodate the near-term port growth that will be fueled by expanding all-water routes from Asia.
