McLeod Software has announced the latest updates to its LoadMaster IX and PowerBroker II transportation management software

McLeod Software has announced the latest updates to its LoadMaster IX and PowerBroker II transportation management software, updated with new features that will improve a carrier’s or freight broker’s ability to manage their business processes, the company said.

According to McLeod, new features on LoadMaster IX Version 9.1 include a search engine capability that allows a search of the entire database; multi-company copy order and cross-company planning screens to simply operations for users operating multiple companies; a report scheduler; linked moves capability that permits the linking of loads to a single tractor at the preplanning stage; side-to-side order planning screens that will allow users to view order planning data across two monitors, and new EDI features.

PowerBroker II Version 9.1 now includes a new brokerage web portal that is incorporated in the system’s Internet module, which will allow carriers to accept, decline or counter an offer directly from the broker’s web site, McLeod said. It also includes access to information on past offered orders, settlements and profiles.

"Our entire product line takes advantage of 3rd generation client-server architecture so we can offer our carrier and broker clients new, more robust features," said Tom McLeod, president & CEO of McLeod Software. "As a result, LoadMaster IX and PowerBroker II users benefit from new features and more capabilities that provide them with a streamlined process for gathering and using real-time information.”
