SkyBitz has made its online asset tracking system available to the public to track the 2006 Capitol Christmas Tree, a 65-ft. tree that is being hauled on a flatbed trailer, as well as to send Thanksgiving greetings directly to the driver. The tracking data is now available at www.trackthetree.com.

The public can also email messages to Bordy Grove, an independent owner-operator for National Van Lines who is transporting the tree during its 10-day cross-country journey. He can be reached at [email protected]
