Prophesy Transportation Solutions and Teletrac have reached agreement to integrate their software solutions so that users have access to features from both companies in a single package.

Prophesy’s Dispatch Series solution will now interface with Teletrac’s Fleet Director GPS and Vehicle tracking software, offering location and position tracking capabilities and improved visibility into fleet operations, the companies said.

Dispatch users will gain access to turn-by-turn navigation, real-time vehicle tracking, live traffic data, and accurate estimated time of arrival. Also, 2-way messaging is improved.

According to Teletac, data created in Dispatch is automatically sent to the drivers’ in-cab device. Drivers can then instantly notify dispatchers regarding load information and confirmations, arrivals, departures, BOL, actual weight, actual quantity, delivery notes, and other information processed by Prophesy Dispatch ─ all at the touch of a few buttons via the Fleet Director in-cab unit.

“We are proud to offer a Fleet Director interface to our users,” said Bill Ashburn, Prophesy vice president/general manager. “Like Prophesy, Teletrac has provided exceptional products to the transportation industry for more than 20 years. The size of Teletrac’s installed base, exceptional quality of product, and long-term focus on customer service, makes Fleet Director a solution we can quite comfortably recommend to our users. Quite simply, our companies share the same ‘roots’ of dedication to the industry.”
