Aresenault Associates has released Version 4.3 of its Dossier maintenance software, adding new features and options.
This version has a new repair order and invoice data import feature that eliminates manual entry of vendor invoices and repair orders by importing from the vendor’s electronic file into the Dossier database. This updates repair order histories, equipment odometer readings, parts and labor costs, and cost per mile or hour. It also has a repair order template that can significantly reduce manual entry time, Arsenault said.
The optional customer management module helps run shops that serve fleets or equipment that require records be kept separate from that shop’s primary fleet, also known as outside customers.
The customer management option includes customer contact and billing information with individual labor rates and parts markups. Managers can generate quotes, automatically convert them to repair orders, and then track them as customer invoices.
Other new features include:

- Broadcasts work pending feature, recalls, service bulletins, maintenance campaigns, etc.
- Automatic expense tracking
- Equipment downtime tracking
