Chattanooga, TN-based InCab University (InCab U), an accredited online college education program for truck drivers, has signed an agreement with Vancouver, WA-based Instructional Technologies (ITI) to offer its Tread-1 computer-based driver training within the InCab U’s curriculum.

Tread-1 is an interactive training system providing an extensive variety of courses designed for truck drivers in the areas of operations, regulations and safety. ITI’s secure web-based database documents and stores all Tread-1 driver training data

The agreement brings together InCab U’s academic curriculum with Tread-1’s safety courses, allowing fleets to train drivers without having to route them back to a home terminal, said Craig Fuller, CEO of InCab University.

“This type of access to driver and safety training and now education is becoming increasingly important,” he said. “Tread-1 is the industry leader in interactive driver training and in conjunction with InCab U’s program of study, this agreement will allow all students to complete training on their own time from the ease of their truck.”
