Navman Wireless Business Solutions, a provider of vehicle tracking and fleet management solutions, announced today the availability of a new asset-tracking system

Navman Wireless Business Solutions, a provider of vehicle tracking and fleet management solutions, announced today the availability of a new asset-tracking system for businesses operating in the U.S.

The Navman Wireless Fleet Manager combines fleet management technology with GPS, and is based on the same solution the company designed and implemented as a white label offering for a U.S. wireless provider last year. The system allows fleet managers to map vehicle locations, analyze vehicle activity (e.g. stops, mileage and idleness), define driver territories, and communicate directly with vehicle operators.

The Navman Wireless Fleet Manager is suited for any size business with any size fleet since it offers a per-vehicle fixed-rate pricing, the company said.

“Navman’s years of experience in the telematics industry have put us at the forefront of mobile data and GPS vehicle tracking development,” said Chris Bradley, gm, Navman Wireless Business Solutions. “Our new fleet management solution is the most advanced system available today and the only solution with an integrated navigation option.”
