The recession has taken its toll on many industries, trucking included, but some companies came through 2009 in better shape than others. Pegasus TransTech is one of those companies. The company announced that it signed up fleets and brokers to its Transflo Express document imaging software at the fastest rate since it launched in 2002.
“We believe the adoption of Transflo Express indicates carriers large and small understood that in times like these profit is more likely to come from honing efficiencies and speeding cash flow than from expanding the business,” said Bob Helms, chairman & CEO of Pegasus TransTech.
Among the carriers adopting Transflo Express in 2009 were Schneider National, Swift Transportation, U.S. Xpress, CRST Van Expedited, Prime, Covenant Transport, Southern Cal Transport, and Raven Transport. According to Pegasus, 27 of the nation’s top 35 carriers utilize the system.
Transflo Express speeds the process of billing by allowing drivers to simply hand delivery documents to a trained fuel desk attendant, who will scan and send those documents electronically to the fleet or broker for immediate billing and processing.
